My lifelong interest in orthopaedics and anatomy was the reason I chose to enter the field of medicine. I found that orthopaedics provides me with the most satisfaction, because I am able to help create a plan with the patient to restore function to their lives. I am a strong advocate of patient education and believe the benefits realized from that communication are a significant component to the treatment plan. I believe the patient should be an equal participant in their care and should work together to obtain the best outcome possible.
