Melissa Wiley, CRNP

Melissa Wiley is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been employed by POA since 2024, and is one of two Certified Nurse Practitioners who participate in the P.A.C.E. Clinic (Pre-Operative Assessment, Communication, and Education) Clinic. Through the PACE Clinic, her role is to evaluate pre-surgical patients, achieve optimal outcomes by minimizing the patient's risk of developing complication post-operatively, and alleviate any patient concerns throughout the surgical process.

Melissa received an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Wor-Wic Community College in 2011 and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Wilmington University in 2018. Melissa worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department for many years at both Tidal Health at Peninsula Regional Medical Center and at Atlantic General Hospital.  Melissa obtained her Master's of Science: Family Nurse Practitioner from Wilmington University in 2021. Prior to beginning at POA, Melissa worked in Primary Care in Salisbury for two years.
