Pasquale Petrera, M.D.

Hip, Joint Replacement, Knee

Fellowship-trained in hip and knee reconstruction, Dr. Petrera is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement and osteoarthritis. He is also the director of the Joint Replacement Center at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Dr. Petrera is active in the medical community and involved in ongoing research on hip and knee replacement, including degenerative conditions affecting those joints. He is a frequent contributor of papers and lectures at conferences and universities.

Dr. Petrera received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York. He completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Albany Medical Center Hospital, and completed his fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Adult Reconstructive Surgery.
