Salisbury, MD — The providers at Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates (POA) recently hosted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) Dinner titled “Keeping Patients Moving: Enhancing Orthopaedic Outcomes Through Primary Care Collaboration.” The event convened more than 100 healthcare professionals—including physicians, advanced practice providers, physical and occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and nurses—from across the Delmarva region to advance interdisciplinary learning and patient care. The program highlighted the critical role of collaboration between primary care and orthopaedics in improving outcomes, streamlining care, and enhancing patient experiences.
