Marcus D. Stephanides, MD (1929-2011)

Marcus D. Stephanides, MD, joined Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates in 1962. He received his undergraduate degree at Bucknell University and his Medical Degree at Temple University. He completed his internship at Williamsport Hospital in Williamsport, PA and his orthopaedic residency in 1962 at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Stephanides became a board certified orthopaedic surgeon in 1964.

In addition to his general orthopaedic practice at Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Stephanides was a consulting physician at the Deers Head Center and presided at their monthly Bone and Prosthetic Clinic. Dr. Stephanides was also a consulting physician at ECI in Princess Anne, MD. He retired from the practice in 1993.
