As a college freshman, Dr. Greco underwent orthopaedic surgery to correct an athletic injury . This experience gave him  a keen awareness of the critical importance of proper orthopaedic care in restoring bone and joint health  to optimum function when an injury has occurred. This led to his decision to become an orthopaedic surgeon.  Dr. Greco attended  medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia followed by an orthopaedic residency at Boston University and fellowship training in adult spine surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Greco has been treating patients with degenerative joint and spinal problems for over 25 years. The majority of patients who experience discomfort due to these conditions respond to non-operative interventions such as medication, physical therapy, and injections. Recent advances in  orthopaedic surgery have led to marked improvement in peri-operative pain control and more rapid post-operative mobilization and rehabilitation. Minimally invasive spinal procedures are also  now an option for many patients whose symptoms do not respond to standard conservative care.

Dr. Greco is an avid tennis player and fly fisherman. Out of his personal and professional experience, he is convinced that, when treatment is needed, skilled orthopaedic care  provides the best path to restoration of strength, function, and return to desired activity level.
