William R. Campbell, MD

William R. Campbell, MD, joined Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates in 1967. He received his undergraduate degree at Muskingham College in Ohio and his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his internship in general surgery in 1952 and was a general practitioner in the Ocean View, DE area before pursuing his orthopaedic residency, which he completed in 1964 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C.

Dr. Campbell was a consultant at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, DE as well as at the Deers Head Center in Salisbury, MD. Dr. Campbell became a board certified orthopaedic surgeon in 1969. He retired from his general orthopaedic surgery practice in 1985.
