A board certified orthopaedic surgeon with over two decades in practice, Dr. McGinnis has translated his extensive experience in surgical and non-surgical treatments into a special interest in shoulder, hip and knee conditions, with an emphasis on total joint replacement.

Dr. McGinnis has demonstrated commitment to orthopaedic research and education by holding positions as an instructor and administrative chief resident at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and as a board examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His commitment also extends to his work with patients, as he helps them to be active participants in their own prevention, rehabilitation and recovery.

Dr. McGinnis graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his internship and residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York.
