Stem Cell Injections
Amniotic Stem Cell Injections
We currently use amniotic stem cells, and their potent growth factors, to aid our patients with tissue healing and remodeling. These amniotic stem cells are found in amniotic fluid that we harvest from our patient’s own body. What can these cells do? Just one cc of amniotic stem cells contains over one million active amniotic cells, of which a portion are stem cells with between 2 and 50 times the concentration of growth factors found in many traditional platelet preparations.
In addition, our clinical experience to date shows that these injections are most effective for treating tissue inflammation and arthritis.
Adipose Stem Cell Injections
We currently use adipose stem cells with our patients to help regenerate soft tissue and rebuild cartilage, muscles, tendons and ligaments. To date this has been one of the most promising breakthroughs in the non-surgical treatment of arthritis and tendinopathies (tendonitis). And, since these adipose stem cells can be harvested from your own body, they represent a natural way of healing. In this case, we harvest and then concentrate stem cells from your own adipose tissue into each injection.
