William B. Moore,
M.D., attended Temple University where he received
his M.D. in 1967. After an internship in general
surgery, he completed a three-year residency in
the Department of Orthopaedics at the University
of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Moore
joined Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates in 1974
and is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who
limits his practice to orthopaedic surgery with
emphasis on total joint replacement. He is a board
member for the International Medical Corps, a health
volunteers organization and has made several trips
overseas to war torn areas with the IMC utilizing
his skills in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Moore is
also instructor of Orthopaedics for the UMES Physical
Therapy Department since 1984.
