Kemuel Carey, MHS, PA-C, ATC joined Dr. Franks' practice at Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates (POA) in September 2005. Prior to joining POA, Kemuel practiced in orthopaedic and spine surgery in upstate New York. He graduated from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Medicine in 1999. After working as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) he returned to Drexel University to obtain his Master's in Health Sciences (MHS) and completed his physician assistant education in 2003. Kemuel is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and is board certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Board of Certification.

Kemuel is married and the proud father of three young boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, sports, church and working with computers in his free time. He also enjoys lecturing to athletic training students at his alma mater and educating local students.
